Walnut stock with 28 in. octagonal barrel having a .36 caliber rifled bore and two sights; the lockplate with fancy engraving marked LOGAN & KENNEDY; brass trigger guard and engraved patchbox; additional decoration includes eight tiny bone inlays on the left side of the butt that might be tally marks plus an inlaid and shaped mother of pearl fragment; the butt with ten carved depressions for decorative expression that are now empty; the stock holds a brass-tipped ramrod.
