Two Jugs Attributed to Sylvanus Hartsoe (Lincoln County, NC, 1850-1926)

Both are of two gallon capacity with a dark combination glaze incorporating Albany slip, high shoulders, straight sides, one has numerous lines and waves of decoration at the shoulder with possible "SLH" on the shoulder, whilst the second is undecorated with possible "SLH" on the handle.
