A beautifully bound set; boards with occasional scuffing, sunning, bubbling to leather, and rubbed corners; all spines browned, with rubbing (mostly at ends), and occasional chipping at head and minor creasing and residue, with joints lightly creased, a couple with minor cracking starting; interiors with occasional denting at fore-edge or minor edgewear, toned moire, scattered foxing (almost exclusively at endpapers), offsetting from bookmarks, and leaves with toned edges and rare spot of finger grime or small stain, pages overall extremely clean and bright; very good with the exception of Toilers of the Sea which has additional foxing (vol. 1) and significant damage, damp staining, and soiling (vol. 2).
