Boards with light to moderate wear including edgewear, mildly rubbed corners, occasional scuffing, minor grime, and sunning, and browning to edges of marbled paper, one with leather pealing at corner; spines with rubbing and occasional chipping to ends, small stain, and areas of age drying to leather; occasional rubbing and creasing to joints, one volume with cracking at front joint, a couple with cracking starting; interiors with typical binding stains at endpapers, expected light offsetting from plates, slight toning, rare spot of foxing and frayed edge, and occasional light grime/stain or small fold; a few with wear and tear to tissue at inner margin, occasional gutter cracking, and vol. I of The Old Curiosity Shop with a few leaves detached at head due to cracking; interiors extremely clean and all but one with tissue guard present; a very good and sturdy set.
