Rebound in full green calf, spine with raised bands and gilt-stamped lettering and decoration, with pictorial endpapers with map of 100 Aker Wood pasted to front endpapers, top edge gilt. 8vo; [14], [1]-158, [2]pp. A portion of the publisher's original green cloth stamped in gilt with Christopher Robin and Pooh from front board pasted to rear free endpaper verso.

Boards with some scuffs and scratches, spine and edges tanned; pictorial 100 Aker Wood endpapers preserved and pasted to later front endpapers only, endpapers with toning, light grime, and minor foxing and stain, pictorial endpapers with additional creased corner and faint Hammermill Bond watermarks possibly suggesting that they were preserved from another (American) edition(?); pages with creasing, scattered grime, light toning, a few closed tears, and rare spot of foxing; crossed out writing in pencil on front free endpaper; some leaves shorter, likely from rebinding process. A good or better copy that has been nicely bound.
