Two Large Cobalt Decorated Stoneware Crocks

19th century, New England or Mid-Atlantic, includes a five-gallon crock with lug handles and impressed "5" below one handle; and a four-gallon crock with bulbous body and tapered rim, lug handles, impressed "4" below one handle; both with foliate cobalt decoration to the shoulders.

The five-gallon 15 3/8 x 12 x 10 1/4 in.; The four-gallon 14 x 11 in. dia.
