Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, cylindrical form, with a dark finish, finely pieced and carved from a section of bamboo, one side decorated with figures gathered on an outdoor terrace under willow trees, the other side left unadorned and smooth, comes together with a carved wood stand.
