Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, a pair of armchairs carved with continuous key scroll pattern to back and sides, the center back splat is carved in low relief with bat and tassel, shaped apron with key motif, stretchers along the bottom, square shaped straight legs with scroll head feet, come together with custom made cushions, chairs marked CHINA in red to underside of both.

Very good estate condition; some light looseness to the joinery; some lightening to the feet on both (from many years of floor cleaning); and a circular area of discoloration to one chair seat.
