19th century, the first three in tortoiseshell veneers, including two rectangular form with silver inlay, the larger monogrammed (largest 3 3/4 in.), and the third of round lidded form (2 3/4 in.); the next three in burlwood veneers, including two in rectangular form with hinged lids, and the third a pocket watch case with inlaid brass cartouche and borders, the fitted interior with mark of "Fs. MATHILE LOCLE / 40865" (4 1/4 in.).
