Antique Continental Rosewood Bonnetiere

Late 19th century, one piece form, rosewood veneer with light wood inlay, arched molded cornice with conforming hinged banded door, shelved interior, the bombe base with fall front compartment with open interior, French bracket feet.

Overall good presentation and attractive rich patina to the rosewood; missing upper escutcheon; the associated key does not seem to operate the lower fall front door (which is unlocked); some veneer shrinkage cracks.
