Late 19th or early 20th century, an ornately carved pair of wood doorway friezes decorated in red pigment and gilt, these friezes would have probably graced a Buddhist temple, includes one together as a single piece and one apart in three pieces.
One that is together has extensive holes and white filling; loss to gilt and lacquer; wear and nicks to edges; second one that is apart is in better condition.
