Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 18th century, porcelain hand painted in underglaze blue, the first one with a continuous scenic landscape, the second with figures in an outdoor garden, each with delicate carved wood covers and carved wood stands.
Pots only 1 1/2 in., 2 3/8 in. diameter, 1 3/8 in., 2 1/4 in. diameter
From the collection of Thomas English Cody (1889-1948), the great nephew of Buffalo Bill Cody, and by family descent. Hairline crack to rim on one; second pot with light hairline to underside and a few slight nicks to rim.
