Qianlong period (1736-95), coral red glazed censer bowl with lion masks flanking the sides, interior and underside with a turquoise glaze, comes together with a carved wood stand.

2 1/2 in., 5 1/4 in., with stand 4 1/8 in.

From the collection of Thomas English Cody (1889-1948), the great nephew of Buffalo Bill Cody, and by family descent.
