Lynn Bogue Hunt was an American wildlife artist, illustrator, and sportsman, best known for his detailed and vibrant paintings of game birds, fish, and hunting scenes. Born in Honeoye, New York, Hunt developed an early passion for nature and the outdoors, which heavily influenced his artistic career. He became a prolific illustrator, contributing to numerous outdoor and sporting magazines such as Field & Stream and Outdoor Life. Hunt was also a skilled designer of duck stamps, having created more than 40 covers for Ducks Unlimited and other organizations.

Bogue's artwork, characterized by a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of animal behavior, captured the essence of American wildlife and outdoor sports. Hunt's legacy endures as one of the most significant contributors to wildlife art in the 20th century.
