Likely 18th century, wool and silk, comprising an old combination of two or more tapestries, the center a country scene with a cottage under a tree surrounded by flowers, the attached border sections featuring floral clusters in cartouches with angelic busts to each side, and more floral clusters all around, some overlap of motifs onto the outer plain border, taupe cotton backing tacked to sides.
