Circa 1800, painted metal face with calendar and second dial, painted signature reading Ja.s Houghton, Ormskirk, the hood with broken arched pediment having applied brass rondels over a stenciled floral frieze, hinged glazed door flanked by fully turned columns with brass capitals, shaped hinged waist door with figured mahogany veneer flanked by reeded corner columns, the base with repeating figured mahogany veneers and circular molding on ogee bracket feet, with pendulum, brass finial and two weights.
