19th century, two-part form, hand-painted porcelain with ormolu mounts, the body signed and dated "Desprez / 1814," and hand-painted Sevres mark to porcelain foot underside, the scene depicting battle aftermath during the Napoleonic Wars and featuring Napoleon on his white steed Marengo, the waisted neck and socle base with gilt "N" flanked by laurel wreath, eagle, and palmette decoration, the foot dated "1814," ormolu bronze foot with Empire style mounts.
