Second half 19th century, rectangular dual hinged-lid form with hidden opening at obverse molded base, the lid and sides decorated in brass and bone stylized vegetal marquetry within banded borders, opening vertically to a divided interior two layers of storage compartments, the lowest layer with sliding hidden storage, unmarked save lock mechanism.
