With an 898cc four-stroke, two-cylinder, horizontally opposed "Boxer", air-cooled engine and a five-speed transmission with shaft drive. The front features dual 260 mm drilled disc brakes, an adjustable steering damper, and telescopic forks. It also features a bikini fairing that houses a clock, and the voltmeter. The rear features a 200 mm drum brake, twin rear shocks that are adjustable by preload. There is also a small ducktail fairing that has a small storage space. In this last year of production, the engine casings were improved in anticipation of the larger bore R100S soon to begin production. 17,455 units were sold from 1973-76. The original toolkit is present and appears complete, and two original keys are present.
This bike wears a Smoke Black/Silver two-tone paint with hand painted gold pin striping that has a fade between colors. Its original and shows very well for its age. The tires are new Metzeler 3.50-19 M/C dated 2022. Also with removable, and lockable hard sided saddlebags.

The fairing and front fender with minor cracking and chips; tank bears some wear to pin striping; the original seat with a small tear on right side; toolkit bears some rust; in very good original condition; recently serviced; clock does not operate; no other apparent concerns.
