Two George III Mahogany Tea Caddies

Circa 1800, the first in chest form with oak secondary, brass pull handle and shaped escutcheon mount, raised on bracket feet, open interior was previously divided (5 1/2 x 9 1/8 x 5 3/4 in.); the second with pine and mahogany secondary, featuring lightwood inlaid scrollwork corners and linear borders, with twin compartments with later papered interior, flush base (5 1/2 x 8 3/8 x 5 3/4 in.).
