Attributed to eastern Virginia, late 18th century, two part form, poplar, yellow pine and spruce secondary, dovetailed case, the upper case with an applied cove molded cornice, upper drawer with three faux drawers above two side by side drawers above three long drawers, all lipped and graduated, three quarter dust boards; the base with applied waist molding above three lipped graduated drawers; applied molding at base; bold ogee bracket feet.

81.75 x 41.75 x 23.25; upper case width 38 in.

While with some repairs a good rare southern form featuring original cornice, waist molding and three original feet.

With repairs, including several drawers with cut/patch/repair at lips and corners; later pulls; front left foot replaced; three other feet appear original but with later pads.
