Early 19th century and later, gesso and gilt wood, brass, featuring a large cove molded tondo with (53) ball surround, and convex mirror within an ebonized reeded slip, the pediment having carved ribbon-tied acanthus plume, grapevine decoration, with ebonized eagle surmounting, conforming carved foliate apron and ears, issuing two upswept candle arms.
