The first, a William IV burlwood tea caddy featuring parquetry edge inlay, the hinged lid opening to reveal a mahogany interior with two lidded compartments; the second, a Swiss marquetry inlaid music box, 20th century, with an image of the Alps to the lid, burlwood body, raised on four ebonized ball feet, labeled.
The larger box 5 x 8 3/4 x 4 7/8 in.
The antique English box with large separation to the lid, chipping to burlwood and mahogany veneers, age cracking, and minor losses to the inlay, one cover missing a pull; the music box in good estate condition, needs tuning.
