The first, a rosewood tea caddy with fan and shell paterae inlay and ebonized diamond escutcheon, and ebonized edge inlay, the lid opening to reveal a felt-lined interior; the second, a mahogany tea caddy with light wood edge inlay and an ivory pull opening to reveal an unlined pine interior, raised on four brass ball feet.

The larger 6 x 5 1/4 x 5 in.

The first, with age cracking and dulling to finish, interior redone, scattered losses to veneers and edge inlay; the smaller not retaining the escutcheon, minor lifting and age cracking to veneers and inlay, abrasion to one edge.
