Plymouth, Connecticut, circa 1820s, eight day brass time and strike movement, mahogany case with full turned columns, scroll pediment with brass urn finials, and scalloped apron, retaining signed paper label to interior, unsigned painted dial with floral decoration behind a hinged glazed glass door with eglomise tablet commemorating the naval conflict between the USS Constitution and the HMS Guerriere during the war of 1812. Includes winding key, one weight, and pendulum bob.
