Early 20th century, the first an inlaid jewelry box in sarcophagus form, with ornate mixed wood parquetry inlays, opens to a deep Prussian blue upholstered interior, mirrored lid and lift off tray (8 1/4 x 13 1/2 x 8 1/4 in.); the second a leather veneered box with pronounced corners, and silver toned book form mount (3 x 7 1/2 x 5 in.). Both unmarked.

Some inlay loss to one corner, and a few areas of lifting to veneers, and interior with dust soiling; the smaller box, with some scuffs at corners, interior with staining and once had an interior tray (now removed).
