Abie Harris is an architect who served as the North Carolina State University Director of Campus Planning from 1966 to 1986, and in 1999 was named University Architect Emeritus for the school. In addition to his career as an architect, Harris is a skilled studio artist and is especially talented in freehand ink sketching.
