Overall good condition; boards with scuffing, rubbing, edgewear, peeling typical of sheepskin, occasional stains, and bumped corners; spines with wear including cracking, rubbing, and chipping with one label partially detached, and wear to ends with occasional loose band; joints rubbed, some cracking at joints and hinges, with one board partially detached and a couple slightly loose but most volumes still very sturdy; interiors with toning and foxing, an occasional damp stain, soiling, lightly frayed edge, pencil marks, and folded corner; frequent wear to endpapers including tears and some free endpapers removed; rare wormhole and burn damage; one volume with loss to corner of front board and subsequent damage to preliminaries, A Treatise on the Criminal Law with additional wear including heavier internal soiling, a loose page, and label remnants on spine, one volume with bookseller sticker on paste-down; several with ownership signature of Will A. Jenkins.
