Mid 19th century, the smallest taken of a seated Victorian lady holding a text, within a leather wrapped case with gilt oval matting (2 in.); the second of a standing woman, full length in gown, within a period leather veneered case with ormolu matting (3 3/4 x 3 1/4 in.); the third taken of a family of four figures, presented in a period thermal plastic case with ormolu matting, case interior with mark of A. P. Critchlow & Co. (3 7/8 x 3 1/2 in.).
