20th century, wood mounted with offset lithography paper, replica after the antique cubic sundial by David Beringer (German, 1756-1821) and manufactured by G. P. Seÿfreid, cubic sundial set with five polar gnomons, verso bearing printed signature "D Beringer / GPS Seyfrid," hinged mounted atop an ebonized turned wood column, molded rectangular platform with inset compass, raised on four turned feet, labeled to underside.
