Orlando Quevedo is a Cuban-born contemporary artist recognized for his mastery in blending classical techniques with modern surrealism. His work is characterized by intricate compositions, vibrant colors, and a unique merging of Baroque-inspired elements with imaginative, dream-like scenarios. Quevedo's paintings often explore themes of time, space, and the human condition, incorporating architectural motifs and allegorical figures.

Quevedo was born in Holguín, Cuba in 1970, and began his artistic journey at a young age. He later trained formally, which solidified his skill in classical painting, particularly the chiaroscuro technique, reminiscent of the Old Masters. Over the years, he has exhibited extensively in the United States and internationally, earning acclaim for his complex and visually striking works. His art is part of many private and public collections worldwide.
