Late 20th century, a modern take on the Chinese blue and white temple jar, painted in vibrant blue with winged animals against a crackle ground with large crashing wave, lappet leaves encircle the base, coin pattern to upper body and repeated on rim of the cover, jar and cover drilled and fitted as a lamp with wooden base and single lightbulb fitting, comes together with a lampshade.
