England, 1790s, having a signed shaped-edge plate (8 in.) painted with a version of the Dragons in Compartments pattern, the center dominated by a purple flowerhead with a dragon and chinoiserie table arrangement "compartments" as are all the pieces. In addition to the plate the group includes a footed bowl marked "75" in red (3 x 6 1/2 in.), (5) scroll handle tea cups, (2) coffee cans, a single cup (interior discoloration) and (2) saucers.

Plate has a tight 1 1/2 in. hairline from the edge; minor rubbing to the decoration and gilt accents.
