19th century, a pair of equestrian motif, red stencil marked "P.L. Dagoty / A Paris" (one with restoration); another plate depicts a bull fight; another is noted on the underside as "Donna di Pietracamela". Three plates are stamped "Sevres" on the undersides.

9 1/4 in. and 8 in.

From a Private Collection, Washington, D.C.

Pierre-Louis Dagoty (1771-1840) specialized in fine china with great colors and decorative richness. He gained the patronage of the Empress Josephine.

Good condition; several small gilt losses.
