18th century, a porcelain large center bowl hand painted in Rose Mandarin manner, the exterior of bowl is decorated with shaped reserves populated by outdoor gatherings of Chinese Mandarin figures against an iron red and gilt patterned ground, blue band of decoration encircles interior of rim.
