Cincinnati artist Cindy Nixon received the Award of Excellence for the Oil Painters of America Midwest Regional Show, and Honorable Mention in the International Artist Magazine Art Competition. Cindy studied privately with Donna Beavers, and attended classes at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and the Raymond Walters Branch of the University of Cincinnati. In addition, she studied with Greg Storer, Wolf Kahn, and Paul Melia. She is an active member of the Cincinnati Art Club, the Women’s Art Club of Cincinnati, and the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society.
