Thomas Henry Fine Art, Nantucket, Massachusetts

A painter of international renown for his cliff-top en plein air paintings, Paul Lewin trained in Bristol and has since lived and worked in south-west Britain, much of this time in West Penwith, the westernmost tip of Cornwall. His work captures the raw beauty and ever-changing weather of the coastal environment, often painted en plein air to reflect the immediacy of the natural world.

Since 2014, he has also taught at the Newlyn School of Art, sharing his expertise in coastal and landscape painting. In 2015 he was shortlisted for the 'New Lights' prize exhibition and was included in the subsequent traveling exhibition across northern England.

He has had over 50 one-person exhibitions and numerous group shows in the UK and overseas. His paintings have been purchased for collections throughout the UK, Germany, Mexico, USA, Australia and the Far East.

Some scuffing to Plexiglass and framing; not examined out of the frame.
