Northeast region (Gates County), circa 1800, Freeman school, yellow pine secondary, two part form, upper case with half-blind dovetail construction, hinged lid with breadboard ends and applied molded edge, divided interior, the base with applied waist molding, pull out mixing slide over a single lipped drawer, straight tapered legs.

Likely later top detached (but present); later interior dividers; likely later mixing slide; later drawer runners and drawer guides; repair to waist molding at front right corner; cut and patch at escutcheon.
