The two designers behind Norm Architects have a distinct approach to work, a method they dub “soft minimalism”: First they take away as many details as they can, then they add back just enough to give a design the life it needs. The groove in the seat back of the Nora Lounge Chair is such a detail, lending character but also serving as a way to bind the upholstery to the frame. A comfortable, embracing chair, Nora’s inspiration derives from the traditional wing chair. Made in Italy.
