Early 18th century, porcelain hand painted in underglaze blue decoration in China and enhanced with bright overglaze polychrome enamels and gilt in Europe, featuring allover foliate decoration with colorful butterflies against a spring green ground, the jar and cover have reticulated diamond openings, the domed cover is topped with a grape cluster, interior of jar mouth is painted with iron red and gilt flowers.
