Chincoteague, Virginia, circa 1962, carved and painted wood, glass eyes, branded CIGAR, signed and dated, including a photo of Cigar holding the decoy.

Private Collection, Chincoteague, Virginia Cigar was given his nickname by a game warden when he lost some cigars while stealing ducks from the warden's trap. Cigar Daisey and his stories are of folk legend. His life and decoys have been memorialized in a book by Doily Fulcher.
