Antique French Boulle Tantalus

19th century, black lacquer serpentine case featuring brass and tortoiseshell inlays, with a dual hinged lid and hinged side panels, removable fitted interior with gilt metal handle, offering four decanters and (16) cordials, the case with hinged side panels, on turned wood feet, unmarked.

9 3/4 x 13 1/2 x 10 1/8 in.

Some scattered surface scratches to case, some glasses and possibly two decanters are later replacements.
