From the Personal Collection of Mr. Kroghie Andresen, Charlotte, North Carolina Purchased from Travis H. McDaniel of Snellville, Georgia. Travis was a retired wildlife biologist who worked in the Currituck Sound area in the 1930s and 1940s. He collected this decoy in the 1940s while working there.
Lee Dudley is by far the most famous North Carolina decoy maker. His name is synonymous with quality because of the exquisite style and form of his decoys.
