Earl Noe purchased the Jodie Styron and Tom Bragg hunting rig in the 1970s and this Swan feeder was in that collection.
Salter was born on Portsmouth Island and was the oldest son and second child of John Wallace Salter. He carved many decoys with his brothers Charlie and Tom. They made most of their decoy from logs that washed up on shore, and made heads from any available wood.
