The Estate of the late Dr. Larry Southworth, Fredericksburg, Virginia Research suggests that the maker is possibly Clemenza L. Miller, born January 19, 1814 in Port Royal, Caroline County, Virginia to John Prince Miller (1789-1838) and Susan Pearson Alexander (1789-1835) and marrying John Burke Tod (1814-1852) in Caroline County February 12, 1835; she died January 4, 1840. Various spellings of her name include Clamesnia L. Miller and Clamania L. Miller.
With staining and toning; very minor stitch loss. Not examined out-of-frame.
