The Winchester Model 1876, also known as the "Centennial Rifle," was introduced in 1876 to celebrate the United States' 100th anniversary. This lever-action rifle was an upgrade from the earlier Model 1873, designed specifically to chamber more powerful, longer cartridges, allowing it to compete with other big-game rifles of the time.
Overall very good estate condition, barrel and receiver have surface scratches and finish wear, barrel is missing rear adjustable sight, dust cover has some play, stock has field marks from age and use, moderate ding to forend on left side forend.
