The Winchester Model 1873 rifle was introduced in 1873 and became one of the most iconic firearms of the American West. Designed by Benjamin Tyler Henry and later improved by John Browning, it was known for its reliability and versatility, chambering popular cartridges like .44-40 and .38-40. Nicknamed "The Gun That Won the West," it gained fame among cowboys, lawmen, and outlaws alike.
Overall good estate condition, barrel and receiver have surface scratches, oxidation, and finish wear, stock and forend have field marks from age and use, buttstock has wood repair/replacement to toe.
