Child's Anglo Indian Carved Mahogany Bookpress

Mid 19th century, one part form, the diminutive case featuring a chip carved cornice above two hinged Georgian style cabinet doors, shelved interior above a base featuring two carved hinged cabinet doors, louvered shelved interior, applied molded base, carved and turned feet; case sides, upper and lower carved motif, upper case with applied rondel.

52.25 x 29 x 12 in.

Upper back board is old but likely later; lower paneled doors with shrinkage splits; as found estate condition.
