Circa 1900, from Gyantse, Tibet, with Chinese style characteristics, a hand knotted rug composed of Tibetan sheep wool brightly colored with vegetable dye, the wool has been hand spun and hand woven, features a blue mythical
qilin to the center of vivid yellow rug surrounded by Tibetan clouds and
linshui stripes representing sea waves with rising mountains peaks symbolizing the universe.
