Mark of John Evans II, London (1844), the circular frame raised on three attractive shell and acanthus scroll bracket feet with central foliate ring handle, holding six parcel gilt egg cups and six spoons. Note that five of the spoons with unidentified maker's mark, London (1837 or 1838). All pieces with period armorial engravings.
